Let's face it, the adapters that we have all been using for years are made from studio wire. They don't hold up in the dirt, rain and snow or living in the bottom of a bag for months. The Model 523 will stand up much better. We used thick rubberized wiring, a heavy duty molded center housing and XLR connectors that have exceptional strain relief. Simply put, we built a better mouse trap.

We at 5 PinProAudio now have two options for you to get your audio out of your cameras. If you only need one channel at a time and want it in a small package then the SSW1 is for you. If you need both channels at the same time, then the Model 523 is the right tool for you. It's a little bigger than the SSW1 but it fills the need for both channels at the same time.
