Proven to be a reliable communications network for a wide range of peripheral devices, USB hard drives are the primary means of local digital storage for LEIGHTRONIX video servers. The LEIGHTRONIX NEXUS® series and EMINENCE-HD2™ video servers store digital video files on one to four external Universal Serial Bus (USB) hard drives. The NEXUS supports a total of up to one terabyte of USB storage, while the UltraNEXUS™, UltraNEXUS-SDI™, and EMINENCE-HD2 can each support up to four terabytes. The overall storage capacity for these server systems may be expanded by using the TOTAL SHARE™ feature with additional network attached storage (NAS) devices.
