The VTC-4000 system packs maximum power into a small, affordable VTR/DDR Controller. Designed for the tape operator, powerful features are available, yet easy to use. With control of up to 10 machines, frame accurate edits are made easily with any number of record machines. Synch roll and looping capability are included. The synch relationship between machines involved in edits and ones rolled manually can be captured, allowing matchframe pick up edits. 500 edit events each have separate IN points per machine. Record inhibit (playback), hard record, assemble edit, or insert edit are assigned per VTR. Support is included for insert edit arming of 8 audio tracks. Control panel connects to 1RU rack mount RM-4000 with a single cable that can span up to 1000 meters. GPIs for each VTR roll playback or perform backspace edits. 4 programmable GPI outputs fire before or after edit points and/or manually. VTC-4000-RS option connects to RS-232 port on a PC and combined with VTCSOFT remote control and scheduling software, makes a low cost automation system. RM-4000-S switch option allows control of 6 VTR/DDRs with the ability to independently auto or manually switch them to another controller such as an automated playback system.
