The exterior of the light is coated in a none reflective black finish and deeply knurled. This light is designed for those who prefer a full sized diameter light. Of constant running on the same set of batteries the spot out shins many 130lm and 160lm single and double RCR123A lights. The higher quality machining of the threads is a real pleasure compared to others of similar price. It has a thicker wall tube and a more meaty wall on the threaded end cap. You will not be experiencing cracked caps and galled threads like other brands. It's built with a genuine CREE 7090 XR-E Super Bright LED proven to be one of the most efficient LEDs in the world. CREE LED allows exceptionally long battery life per set of batteries. We spent extra money on a better switch, which performs smoother and more reliable.
