The Kramer VS-24xl is a 2x1 standby switcher for composite video and balanced stereo audio signals. It is designed to automatically switch to the second input whenever the primary video signal is interrupted
If the primary signal reappears, the VS-24xl will automatically switch back to input one. In addition to its automatic switching function, the VS-24xl can operate as a simple 2x1 video and audio switcher using two front panel buttons or as a remote controlled video and audio 2x1 switcher.
The device has a front panel switch allowing the user to select between automatic and manual switching. The VS-24xl offers control of the output video signal LEVEL and cable EQ. via trimmers accessible from the front panel. The machine is fed from a 12 VDC source and is ideal for fieldwork as well.
