NTI STI-PA Speech Intelligibility Option for AL1

In case of emergency, public address systems in buildings like airports, railway stations, shopping centers or concert halls have to (clearly) inform persons in danger about escape information and directions. The Acoustilyzer measures the speech intelligibility STI-PA of emergency systems in accordance with the standard 2003 IEC 60268-16.

The STI-PA measurement allows durable and reliable speech intelligibility measurement within 15 seconds. Besides the single value STI or CIS test result, a detailed view of modulation indices and individual band level results is provided.

A designated STI-PA test signal is provided by the Minirator MR-PRO or the NTI TalkBox. Acquired measurements may be referenced to previously established background noise level spectra's with automatic recalculation of the STI values.
