Works with the Keyboard/Mouse Extender Local Unit to send your keyboard and mouse signals up to 350 feet-without power!
Here's the easiest way you can extend your keyboard and mouse signals-without worrying about power hookups! With the Keyboard/Mouse Extender, you can set up your keyboard and mouse 350 feet (106.7 m) from your CPU and monitor or display.
Make great presentations where the information is the focus, not you. When used in team presentations, you can control the keyboard and mouse at the back of a darkened room, while your partner highlights the display at the front of the room. If you're a teacher or training facilitator, you'll find these extenders work perfectly in the classroom. You can control the keyboard and mouse unobtrusively while the students focus solely on the display.
You can also use the extenders to control digital signs in boardrooms or even auditoriums. They're ideal for any application where you need to set up your keyboard and mouse some distance from your CPU.
You'll find these extenders extremely easy to use. Simply connect the local and remote units to your equipment. Then plug in your inexpensive unshielded CAT5 or higher cable. There are no power supplies to worry about!
Use the extenders in pairs: The local unit connects to a PS/2® keyboard and mouse. The remote units connects to the PC. A USB keyboard and mouse may be connected using a USB-to-PS/2 adapter.
NOTE: The Keyboard/Mouse Extender must be used in pairs, which can be two AC644As, one AC644A and one AC643A, or two AC643As.
