This system includes a built-in GEF-3GSDI-FOSM 3GSDI SM FO extender for transmitting 3G/HD/SD-SDI, over one singlemode ST-terminated fiber optic cable up to 1.25 miles (2 kilometers) with or without embedded audio, and data over a single fiber core. The GEF-3GSDI-FOSM is compliant with other SMPTE-424M (3G-SDI), SMPTE-292M (HD-SDI), and SMPTE-259M (SDI) devices. Transmitter and receiver units have standard BNC video and ST fiber optic connectors with metal dust cap & chain.
The Camplex Tac-N-Go HDSDI also includes Camplex MilTac TAC1 singlemode tactical built onto a field rugged cable reel.
