The next evolution for the VX7 series, the VX7i, has everything you love about the original monitor and more. ikan's new VX7i is now equipped with an HD IPS LCD Panel, upgraded 3G HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite and Component inputs - all complimented with outputs with no signal loss and loop through capabilities. With a resolution of 1280x800, the IPS panel gives you near perfect viewing angles and color reproduction that any standard LCD panel has. The VX7i has a built in tally system but uses on screen signals instead of the traditional lights on the chassis.
Hi-Resolution HD Image
VX7i's HD panel has a resolution of 1280x800, a higher resolution than 720p, giving you a Hi-Res HD image on your monitor. The IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel gives you a viewing angle of 170° horizontal and 170° vertical as well as a more accurate color rendition than any standard LCD monitor.
Dual Tally Systems
There are two tally systems featuring one on the front and one on the back of the monitor. On the front, the on-screen tally light shows 3 different colors of your choice of yellow, green or red on screen. On the back, there are 3 colored indicating LED lights, and when the tally is connected, it lets the user know when they are recording or switched to on air.
Every connection you could possibly need is here on the VX7i. The monitor comes with the upgraded 3G HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite, and Component input. All inputs are complimented with outputs.
We Have the Power
This monitor was built to have power. The VX7i has multiple battery solutions that include DV batteries, Canon DSLR batteries, and even Pro batteries that mount directly on the back of the monitor. There are mounting holes for the plate that holds the V-mount or the Anton Bauer Pro batteries. Whatever your battery needs are, the VX7i will fit to it.
