55" Xtreme Display - Optically Bonded
There has never been an outdoor flat panel display like the Peerless-AV Xtreme display. Eliminating the need for vents, filters or exhaust fans, the unique fully-sealed design provides the ultimate protection against weather, water and dust. A patented Dynamic Thermal Transfer system keeps internal components safely warmed in extreme cold and properly cooled in extreme heat. The Peerless-AV outdoor flat panel display has the highest ratings for waterproof and dustproof in its class, making it the perfect choice for any location, indoor or out.
The Peerless-AV Extreme displays come in (2) different versions. The Standard version and an Optically Bonded version which allows for the direct sunlight readability. All displays that live in direct sunlight will struggle unless an Optic Bonding element has been employed within the device. To further the robustness of the Displays, they are all IP rated.
The Extreme Displays and Consumer TVs support full HD 1080p60.
Environmental Ratings: IP68, NEMA 6. IP68 = Protected against water submersion - The equipment is suitable for continual submersion in water under conditions which are identified by the manufacturer. IP65 = Protected against water jets - Water projected at all angles through a 6.3mm nozzle at a flow rate of 12.5 liters/min at a pressure of 30kN/m2 for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 meters. NEMA 6 = No ingress of dust; complete protection against contact (dust tight).
The Extreme displays support HDMI, VGA, Component, and Composite AV.
The Peerless-AV Extreme Displays and Consumer TVs come with IR remote controls. Each display also supports RS232C for control. A complete list of codes are available.
