Avoid costly fogging! Most CSP shields are manufactured out of standard acrylic which has a softer surface than glass or AR acrylic and therefore needs to be treated with extra care. Cleaning CSP with alcohol based cleaners like Windex and abrasive wipes like paper towels may "fog" (scratch) acrylic panels. Rainwipes Microfiber Towels are designed for use on plastic panels. One strand of the Rainwipes Microfiber Towel is several hundred times smaller than a fine strand of cotton fiber. The hypo-allergenic, non-abrasive wedge shaped microfiber scoops lift and trap dirt, dust, grime and moisture without scratching. The fibers are lint free and non-abrasive. Microfiber towels can be used wet or dry, are extremely durable, and can be washed up to 500 times.
