W.I.E.M.S. - Overview

The Industry's Most Compact Wireless In-Ear System!

ProCo welcomes the W.I.E.M.S., which is their compact wireless in-ear monitor system.

The small, compact design bares no external antennas and favors a plug-and-play set-up. The W.I.E.M.S. can be used in a variety of applications such as live sound, broadcast and film, and education with up to a line-of-sight range of 98 feet (30 meters).

The system has 4 user-selectable channels and has a 3.5mm headphone output which allows you to use your favorite earpieces. Lithium-ion batteries power the receiver which can be recharged using a micro USB connection. The transmitter and receiver pair automatically on a 5.8GHz frequency band, which keeps it isolated from an overused 2.4GHz band. It has low latency of less than 5.6ms and 24-bit audio quality with a 48kHz sampling rate from a balanced line level output. Another great feature is that with the use of an XLR cable, the transmitter will work through an Dante-enabled wall plate or drop snake.
