The SKB 3I-1610-5B-D Injection Molded Mil-Standard Utility Case is a watertight equipment case molded of ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasketed, water and dust tight, submersible design (IP67) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. This case has a dividable interior that can be customized for any use.
The case has a continuous molded-in hinge, patent pending "trigger release" latch system, comfortable, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C).
The 31-1610-5B-E case can be stacked securely and the latch system can be locked with an optional padlock. The case is sized to accommodate airline regulations for traveling in the overhead luggage compartments for added safety to technical gear.
