    ACA-35-1000 - Overview

    The Blonder Tongue ACA-35-1000 is a quality, broadband, indoor distribution amplifier, designed for RF distribution systems, such as apartment complexes, hospitals, schools, prisons, and hotels. This amplifier is ideal for those RF distribution systems whose input source is a "cable drop", the output of a MATV/SMATV headend, or the output of a small CATV headend. It provides continuous coverage of all frequencies from 40 MHz to 1000 MHz. This indoor amplifier covers the full VHF and UHF bands as well as all CATV channels.

    The ACA-35-1000 amplifier has 35 dB of operational gain, which is variable using a built-in gain control provided for adjusting the output level to meet the distribution system requirements. Utilizing push-pull amplifier stages and surface mounted devices capable of delivering high output levels with low distortionis making it the ideal amplifier if distribution in the system includes UHF signals.

    This amplifier uses a push-pull discrete amplifier stage, The ACA -35-1000 is housed in a compact 9" x 5-3/8" x 2" aluminum chassis that provides excellent heat dissipation. This allows the Blonder Tongue ACA-35-1000 to be operated at high ambient temperatures with no degradation of performance or reliability. The ACA Series is provided with an external power transformer for use with 117 VAC power.
