The AuviTran AxP-S8E is a DSUB D25 male to 8x 3-Pole euroblock pluggable converter. In practical terms, the AxP-S8E plugs into the DB-25 port on an Audio ToolBox card, allowing installers to terminate balanced analog audio wiring directly on Euroblock connectors instead of using a DB-25 breakout cable.
The AuviTran AxP-S8E is not a standalone device. It is an accessory module that installs onto certain AuviTran Audio ToolBox AxC cards that use a DB-25 connector. The AxP-S8E converts that DB-25 connection into eight 3-pole Euroblock (Phoenix-type) terminal connectors.
Common compatible AuviTran cards include:
AxC-AS8M (8-channel analog input card)
AxC-AS8O (8-channel analog output card)
AxC-AS16M (16-channel analog input card)
AxC-AS16O (16-channel analog output card)
Please Note! When using the AxP-S8E with the 16 channel cards a fully populated card would typically use two AxP-S8E adapters, one per DB-25 port.
