This GA780-KIT pedestal is made up of the heavy-duty 780FH fluid head, the GA230 tripod pedestal, the EI-7003C tripod dolly, two padded panhandles, and carrying bags for the fluid head & pedestal legs, and an additional one for the dolly. The maximum payload for this full pedestal system is 22Lbs.
Fluid Head
The 780FH head features a 75mm bowl, variable pan & tilt drag, and fixed counterbalance. The head comes with a top-loading quick-release mounting plate with a 5.7" slide range that helps to balance large studio cameras or teleprompters. It features two rosettes where you can connect the two included padded panhandles. The fluid head also features individual locks for both pan & tilt.
Pedestal System
The geared center column of the tripod can extend 18" and lock in place for high-angle shots. WIth the tripod mounted onto the dolly, this pedestal system has a height range of 43.9" to 106.9". The EI-7003C dolly features three locking rubber wheels, a load capacity of 88.2 lb, and a 39.4" footprint diameter. It can be removed from the legs and folded for transport and storage and even has a handle for easy carrying.
