Unlike conventional two-stage tripods with leg locks on the upper and lower sections, the QL40B features a patent-pending locking mechanism enabling quick lock and release, allowing users to adjust the tripod height using Quick Locks located on the legs' upper sections only, making height adjustments and setups super fast and easy. Without a lock on the lower section of the tripod, there is no need to bend and unlock, reducing the user's workload. In addition, the QL40B offers a maximum height approximately 11.8" (30cm) higher than the current model RT30B, making the QL40B tripod even more suitable for various shoot environments including events and interviews. The QL40B also features an Accessory Port with ¼" and ⅜" screw holes and is equipped with a user-friendly Carrying Handle for easy transportation.
