600 000 341B - Overview

The NTI hand-held XL2 Analyzer is a powerful Sound Level Meter, a professional Acoustic Analyzer, a precision Audio Analyzer and a comprehensive Vibration Meter in one instrument. Easy operation and countless applications distinguish this quality Swiss product.

The XL2 as a Sound Level Meter
Numerous measurement variations are simultaneously available. Actual level (live), Lmin, Lmax, Leq and Lpeak may be measured in combination with frequency weighting A, C or Z and time weightings fast, slow and impulse. All results are simultaneously available and may be stored automatically for later documentation.

Customers may log all acquired level information onto a removable SD card. Additionally the XL2 offers wav-file recording for a complete documentation of the measured sound pressure levels. Voice notes may also be added to each measurement.

The XL2 as a Real Time Analyzer RTA
The RTA perfectly suits tasks such as optimization of sound systems and rooms. The XL2 measures and logs wideband values and the real time spectrum in 1/1 or 1/3 octave-band resolution according to IEC 61260 class 0. The sound level meter results of the wideband and RTA spectrum are simultaneously available.

5 reasons why the XL2 is the right choice for you
The XL2 Acoustic Analyzer offers numerous measurement functions relevant to your application in one instrument. Thanks to the intuitive operation, you can quickly and easily switch between the different measuring functions.

1.) The intuitive user interface makes operation child's play without having to study the user manual.

2.) Rugged and ready for tough environments.

3.) All measurement results are stored on a removable SD card as TXT files, which can be further processed externally with a PC or MAC.

4.) The XL2 has many expandable measurement functions. So, if you have other acoustic or audio measurement tasks, it's likely that the XL2 can help you.

5.) Together with the Type Approval Option, the XL2 is an approved Sound Level Meter.

Incomparable Value
The XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer provides top-class performance with excellent value for money. You will receive an instrument exactly tailored to your needs for less than you expect..

The NTi Audio M4262 is a calibrated, omni-directional class 2 measurement microphone running from 48V Phantom power. It shows excellent linearity over a wide dynamic range from 27 dB SPL up to 142 dB SPL.

The microphones are 48V phantom powered and include an electronic data sheet. The Automated Sensor Detection (ASD) of the XL2 Analyzer automatically reads this data, i.e. the microphone model and calibration data. This promotes faster setup and ensures accurate measurements.
