SES-MKP-43 - Overview

The Sescom SES-MKP-43 is a compact, passive inline audio level controller that solves a common problem: instrument signal levels that are too hot for a given input or simply need adjustments on the fly without touching an instrument mixer or preamp. It's ideal for direct-box setups, fixed installations, broadcast environments, and live stage rigs where quick, hands-on level control matters.

Applications:
Controlling "Hot" Pickups: Guitar pickups, such as active or high-output humbuckers, can easily clip the inputs of older tube amplifiers or sensitive audio interfaces, so an inline controller rolls back the level to keep the signal clean.
Quick Access to Muting/Fading: Provides a desktop or belt-pack volume knob for acoustic musicians or keyboardists who do not have a master volume control within reach while performing.
Managing Mismatched Audio Gear: The inline control lets you adjust the level when running an instrument through effects pedals that lack their own master volume controls.

Sescom Tech Note: Intended for use with instrument-level signals. Not compatible with phantom power.
