The StudioHub+ Four Studio Switcher provides automated selection of up to 4 stereo audio inputs routed to 1 stereo audio output.
Operation
Once selected, a studio indicates ON, on all buttons. In the studio selected, the ON button is pushed to arm studio switching from any other studio. The studio lamp selected flashes to indicate that the arm mode is active for 15, 30, 45, or 60 secs (jumper selectable).
In the event of power failure, the unit automatically returns to either the last studio selected prior to the power failure, or to studio 1 (jumper selectable).
Wiring
Connect up to 4 stereo inputs and 1 stereo output to RJ-45 connectors J2 thru J6. Connectors follow the Studiohub+ pin-out configuration.
Control wiring is also accomplished via RJ-45 patch cords to pre-connectorized 2-button switch panels. Panels must be plugged into their indicated RJ-45 connector for each designated studio. Local panel connectors J8 & J10 are provided for override control at the switcher.
Remote Control
Studio selection may be remote controlled by connecting the select 1-4 remote control pins to ground momentarily. A pull-to-ground indication of which studio is selected is available on pins 7-10 of the remote control connector.
Grounding Information
All RJ-45 shields are connected in parallel. This common shield line may be connected to chassis ground (jumper enabled).
