The ALX T is an aluminum tripod with three leg sections and a mid-level spreader that increases stability. The spreader conveniently telescopes out to full width. The legs have rubber foot pads on the ends and integrated metal spiked feet within the pads. The rubber pads retract to reveal the spiked feet for use on soft ground, such as on grass. The tripod has a minimum height of 23.5" and reaches a max height of 59". The leg stages and spreader tighten into position by twist knobs. The ALX T features a 75mm bowl base, which directly supports the head and slider. The ALX T is conveniently lightweight (2.5kg/5.5lb) and has a significantly higher rigidity than other existing compact tripods. This supreme rigidity is achieved by its newly modified leg stoppers. Not only is it highly rigid, it is also perfectly stable thanks to its integrated extendable brace and spikes with foot pads.
The Libec ALX T tripod allows users to have multi style configurations for any shooting environment. For example, adding an ALX H with an ALX S4, ALX S8, or ALX S12 slider allows users to have a pan, tilt, and slide configuration. A Diagonal and vertical configuration can be achieved by having the following: 1x ALX S8 KIT, 1x ALX H. A double platform configuration can also be achieved by having the following: 1x ALX S12, 2x ALXSP, 2x ALX H, 2x ALX T. Moreover, by using this configuration, a still image and a motion picture can be captured at the same time.
