Good crimper, terrible stripper

Comments about PALADIN TOOLS Paladin SealTite Pro CATV Compression Crimp Kit:
First off, this came branded differently. But that's okay, it's still the same exact tools. The crimper is good, first time I have used this style, I'm used the Belden style of compression tools. Since I rarely use Belden connectors, I wanted a more versitle tool. Make sure you start out the tool with a bigger size setting than you think you'll need and adjust from there. If you set it too small, once you reach the limit of the connector, the tool will get stuck due to the ratcheting nature of it.The stripper is terrible. 100% useless. It can not be adjusted enough to fit standard RG6/RG59. I replaced it with the Klein tool that uses cartridges. Much better. The cutters/snips cut coax perfectly. It's always good to start with a clean cut, which flush cutters do not give you on Coax. I rarely use the flare tool, only on old coax. The cable I buy isn't tight enough to warrant a flare tool.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
