Connections
COAX Connectors 75Ω HD-BNC Connectors are designed for professional Broadcast, Telecom, Security and Industrial applications. They are tested beyond 12GHz to exceed the requirements of SMPTE ST 2082-1, making them ideal for Full HD1080p (3G), HD-SDI, and Ultra HD 4K (12G) applications. They also offer a selection of BNC Adapters engineered with high-quality materials to precise tolerances, providing low insertion loss and excellent shielding, especially important in high-frequency and high-definition signal paths. DIN 1.0/2.3 is a miniature RF coaxial connector designed for high-density digital video and telecommunications, meeting IEC 61169-29, CECC 22230 & DIN 47297 standards, designed with a smaller size and safer push-pull couplings.

Tools and More!
COAX Connectors ratchet Crimp Tools attach True 75-Ohm BNC, Micro BNC, and DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors to standard broadcast cables with jaws that can be reversed for left-handed users. COAX Connectors knows that things can get a bit tight in crowded patchbays and data centers; sometimes finger access isn't possible, so they offer specially designed Micro and full-sized BNC Plug Insertion and Extraction Tools that can speed up and simplify your process!

FAQ

What is an Ohm?
An ohm, or Ω, measures how much a device or circuit opposes the flow of electric current; in video and audio equipment like monitors, speakers, and cables, ohms refers to how a circuit presents to alternating current (AC). Proper impedance management ensures video/audio signals transfer cleanly without power loss or reflection.

How are 50Ω and 75Ω connectors used in AV?
50Ω connectors are usually optimized to balance power delivery with acceptable signal loss for high-demand devices like Wi-Fi antennas, GPS, two-way radios, and test gear like oscilloscopes. 75Ω connectors are primarily optimized for video and broadcast signals to maintain signal integrity over long cable runs for HDTVs, cable television (CATV), CCTV security systems, and professional-level video production.
