The Audio-Technica ATIR-T88 is designed for use with the ATCS-60 Infrared Discussion System. Up to three presenter microphones can be used simultaneously. IR transmitting sections located in the upper and lower sections of the ATIR-T88 grip. The microphone contains a high-quality condenser element and operates using 2 AA alkaline batteries. It has three output settings (ECO, LO, and HI). Continuous operation in ECO mode is approximately 10 hours.
The Audio-Technica Infrared Conference System developed by Audio-Technica offers all the advantages of infrared communication and uses 100% wireless microphones or desk mount gooseneck microphones. It therefore offers its users more flexibility - including the ability to easily change the location of microphones or system configurations. Unlike UHF or 2.4GHz wireless microphones, the wireless infrared signal does not spread outside the hardware used, which ensures secure communication.
