Brady BMP21-PLUS-BATT is a Rechargeable Li-ion Battery Pack for the BMP21 label printer. The Rechargeable Lithium Battery Pack for the BMP21-PLUS does NOT charge when it is inside the printer when using the AC Adapter. When you charge the battery pack with the AC Adapter, the battery pack has to be out of the printer. The power adapter port on the printer housing allows the printer to be powered by the AC adapter, it does not power and charge the battery at the same time.
