Eartec HUB with Global Connect provides full duplex communication over IP enhancing the capability of videoconferencing and videotelephony. When added to a computer or smartphone these Global Connect systems allow up to 8 mobile wireless users on one side of a web chat to communicate hands free through computer or cell phone to persons on the other side of the call anywhere in the world.
All Global Connect systems begin with an Eartec intercom that includes a compact repeater called The HUB along with any combination of up to 8 UltraLITE full duplex wireless headsets. The HUB is a mini base station that provides larger groups hands free wireless communication. UltraLITE are self-contained single or double speaker wireless headsets that are linked via the HUB right "Out of The Box". To operate the UltraLITE simply turn the headsets "ON" and talk, all electronics, including transceiver, antenna and battery, are installed inside the headset ear cup. The resulting HUB w/ UltraLITE intercom interfaces with the internet via the Global Connect kit that includes a cable assembly for smartphone and USB with soundcard for laptop / desktop. Once a web chat is established via Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams etc. simply plug-in your HUB system and everyone communicating within a 400-yard range with UltraLITE wireless are automatically linked to your party or parties on the other side of the internet video conference / chat. Since all Eartec transceivers are field programmable the standard 2-person systems are easily expandable simply by adding additional UltraLITE headsets. Operating in the non-licensed DECT band (Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology) the HUB Global Connect series w/ UltraLITE will not interfere with other RF equipment including WIFI.
