The Ikan PT419W-PTZ-NDI-TK is a PTZ Teleprompter that features Full NDI (Network Device Interface) encoding/decoding, as well as traditional 3G-SDI, HDMI, Composite and VGA, inputs. NDI is a video-over-IP protocol that allows for high-quality, low-latency video transmission over standard Ethernet networks. This NDI teleprompter can be connected to a network using standard Ethernet cables, eliminating the need for dedicated video cables or specialized hardware. In addition, the teleprompter utilizes PoE++ technology that allows both power and NDI data to be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable. By using a single cable for power, tally lights, and data transmission, you can reduce the overall cost of materials, as well as the cost of installation and maintenance. The included teleprompter hood fully encloses the PTZ camera allowing it to move freely inside the hood. The teleprompter features a 65/35 reflective glass that makes the reflection easier to see for the presenter. The lightweight aluminum teleprompter has multiple ¼-20" and ⅜-16" threads for mounting to a tripod or pedestal.
PTZ Teleprompting with Fully Enclosed PTZ Hood
The Ikan PTZ Teleprompter system is a unique PTZ teleprompting system that enables the PTZ camera's pan, tilt and zoom capabilities while still behind the reflective teleprompter glass. You can easily pan the camera between multiple people reading from the same script. The PTZ teleprompter also features a lightweight hood that fully encloses the PTZ camera, which allows it's movement to remain unconstrained. The hood includes an opening in the back that gives you quick access to the PTZ cameras inputs and outputs. The opening can be closed with a drawstring which removes the possibility of any light leaks.
Beam Splitters
Ikan's teleprompter beam splitter glass allows talent to read from a teleprompter screen while maintaining direct eye contact with the camera or audience. The 3mm thick optical-grade glass features a front surface mirror coating with 65% transmission and 35% reflection, along with an anti-reflection (AR) coating on the rear to prevent ghosting. This design ensures clear, color-neutral images for the camera and easy-to-read text for the talent.

The rolling hard case is designed to accommodate the full teleprompter system, including the teleprompter base, risers, hoods, glass, monitors, and power supplies. The Injection Molded Mil-Standard Waterproof Case is crafted from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin. This case includes a gasket-sealed, water and dust-tight design, ensuring it is submersible and complies with MIL-STD 810H standards. It is designed to withstand corrosion and impact damage.
