TX2N - Overview

The Listen Technologies Auri™ TX2N is a sleek, low-profile transmitter designed for professional installations, resembling a Wi-Fi access point. It features a discreet logo, multicolor status indicator, and side-mounted balanced analog mic/line inputs, supporting mono, stereo, or dual mono configurations. A single ethernet connection manages PoE, network/PC control, and Audio over IP. It also includes a balanced line output and USB-C for optional power. A versatile ceiling/wall mounting bracket is included for easy installation.

Auracast™ is a new Bluetooth® capability that enables an audio transmitter to broadcast to an unlimited number of receivers. And no pairing of devices! Selecting a broadcast is much like choosing a Wi-Fi network, the user simply selects the desired Auracast™ channel to hear that broadcast.

Plus, it offers an impressive 3,000-foot transmission range - far beyond traditional Bluetooth!

Sleek and Low-Profile
A concealed side-panel offers two balanced analog mic/line audio inputs for the two radios. This combination offers an array of routing and configuration options, including single stream mono audio, true stereo audio, and dual mono streams with separate audio (e.g. content or language).

Single Ethernet Connection
Supports PoE, network/PC connection (for system management), and Audio over IP (for repeater or daisy-chain configuration). The transmitter also supplies a balanced line-output.

Auri™ Firmware v1.6
• Updated Radio Stack (TX2N & RX1): A major update to the underlying radio stack to improve stability and efficiency, ensuring Auri™ continues to meet the latest broadcast standards and compliance.
• AES256 CBC Encryption (TX2N & D4/D16): Security matters, and Listen Technologies has got you covered. They've added AES256 CBC encryption for third-party API integrations, giving developers and systems enterprise-level protection for secure communications.

Note: this unit does not come with a power supply, it can be powered by PoE or a USB-C supply available separately (LA-425).
