MV2-DVI-RX-1K-S/A - Overview

The MVII-DVI-Rx-1K is a digital video receiver capable of extending video, Audio and Duplex Serial up to 1,00ft (305m) over twisted pair from a MVIIDVI-TX transmitter. Also, the MVII-DV-RX-1k is compatible with the MultiView™ family of distribution and switching products including the Mondo-III matrix switch, the 9D Distribution amplifier and the Morphit EQ card. As with all MultiView™ receivers, the MVII-DVI-RX-1k is Daisy chainable and comes in two varieties; -A and -SAP this allows you to purchase only the capabilities you need.

The MVII-DVI-Rx-1K features automatically adjusted EQ and Skew compensation providing a video image upon connection, greatly simplifying the initial installation and setup. These adjustments can also be fine-tuned manually. The skew compensation can be varied in 2 ns increments to 65 ns total per color-channel to cancel the effects of skew in Category cables. This feature allows you to use a variety of twisted pair cables (both "standard" and "low-skew" types) to lengths up to 1000ft (305m).

The MVII-DVI-Rx-1K supports a range of standard video formats 640x480 to 1920x1080.

    • Note: It is also possible to embed or de-embed 2CH-PCM digital audio at the TX or RX
    • Serial Characteristics: (-S) mode: Simplex serial, up to 115.2K. Protocol transparent. (-SAP) model only: Duplex serial, 9 configurable baud rates are supported. Protocol-transparent, but also supports serial-configuration mode.
