The B4041 pro convert SDI plus module is the modator version of Magewell's Pro Convert SDI Plus encoder: same specification, built as a hot-swappable blade for the Modator 2U chassis instead of a standalone box. It takes one SD, HD or 3G-SDI input up to 2048x1080 at 60fps with 16 channels of embedded audio and encodes it to NDI High Bandwidth at up to 2048x1080 60fps 4:2:2 8-bit, with the same 16 audio channels carried in the NDI stream. A second BNC passes the SDI signal through to the next device.
The module supports NDI 6.2 and HDR HLG, can scale and change frame rate on the way out, and drives PTZ cameras with VISCA over UDP through NDI. It is set up from the Modator chassis touch screen, a web UI over Ethernet or the USB-C port, or Magewell Control Hub alongside the rest of a rack, and it offers HTTP APIs for custom control. Magewell rates SDI reception up to 492.13 feet (150m).
