Telescoping Hangers have a very substantial pipe clamp to attach to a lighting grid. The pipe clamp has been slightly offset to allow the riser or drop down tube in slide up when there is sufficient room between the grid the ceiling. It is therefore possible for a 3' Single Extension Hanger to go from a few inches below the grid to the fully extended 3 feet. Matthews Telescoping Hangers are available to single stage and double stage. All terminate in 1/2"-13 female thread to permit the attachment of several hanging accessories.
