The Audinate AVIO-A-4IN-EB Dante AVIO Install adapters provide a compact, cost-effective way to bring analog audio onto Dante networks, extending the life of existing equipment while supporting scalable system growth. Available in 2-Ch and 4-Ch input and output models, including a 2-Ch In/2-Ch Out option for bidirectional connectivity, they simplify deployment with PoE-powered operation and deliver exceptional bit-perfect, ultra-low latency audio performance.
Dante AVIO Install adapters are part of the trusted Dante family of networked AV solutions, leveraging the familiar Dante control and management platform. Configuration and audio routing to and from AVIOs is managed through Dante Controller, while advanced features such as remote monitoring, user access control, cross-subnet routing, and API integration can be enabled with Dante Director or Dante Domain Manager.
Built for Installation
Tailored for the Pro AV installation market, the Dante AVIO Install line of adapters includes Euroblock terminals for streamlined integration with installed analog audio equipment. Each adapter ships with a mounting bracket and incorporates the Dante AVIO ClickGrid mounting system, allowing multiple units to snap together into organized assemblies for installation under conference tables, on shelves, attached to rack rails, or secured to posts using cable ties or hook-and-loop fasteners.
Efficient Network Deployment
The 4-Ch Input, 4-Ch Output, and 2-Ch In/2-Ch Out models support daisy chaining through dual switched Ethernet ports. The first unit receives network and PoE power from the switch and passes both along to downstream units, allowing up to four adapters to share a single network drop. By reducing switch port usage and simplifying cabling, they help manage overall infrastructure costs.
2-Ch Input and Output models include a single Ethernet port. They can be used at the end of a daisy chain but cannot extend it further.
Applications Include:
• Multi-Zone Audio: Extend analog endpoints across buildings, floors, or zones within a centralized Dante network, reducing analog infrastructure complexity while supporting managed deployments.
• Hospitality and Retail: Deliver consistent background audio and paging across multiple spaces, from hotel lobbies and restaurants to retail floors and beyond.
• Education: Connect audio sources and endpoints across campus-wide networks for scalable sound reinforcement in classrooms, lecture halls, and auditoriums.
• Meeting Rooms: Integrate analog conference equipment into a Dante system across single or multiple rooms, eliminating the need to run analog cabling between devices and spaces.
