ADDER ADDERLink® XD614 is a high-resolution, quad-head KVM extender. The high-definition video, USB 2.0 and audio are transmitted on a single CATx or fiber cable.
High performance KVMA extender that is designed to provide reliable and real-time access to critical computers - regardless of the location, while maintaining the same user desktop user experience.
Quad-Head High-Definition Video
Supports quad-head 1920x1200@60Hz or single head 4096x2160@60Hz (DCI 4K60). Quad-head enabled over a single cable using DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport (MST) technology.
Up to 4km Extension
Supports both copper and fiber interfaces. Provides a range of up to 100m/328ft over a CAT6 cable link, and up to 4km/2.5 miles over an optical fiber link (Fiber SFP modules sold seperately).
Emulated USB 2.0
Emulation ensures reliable connection of up to four full and low speed HID devices, from mouse and keyboards through to graphics tablets and jog shuttles.
Plug and Play
Uses a low-latency point-to-point protocol over a single CATx or fiber cable that works as soon as it is connected. No network set-up, driver or software is required.
Digital Audio over DisplayPort
Supports two channels of 24-bit, 192kHz sampled PCM audio over the DisplayPort connection.
Analog Audio
Plug analog line in/out and headphones directly into the receiver. Audio is transmitted as bi-directional stereo 24-bit/96kHz using either an analog or USB connection to the host.
Monitor Flexibility
EDID management allows the monitor capabilities to be passed back to the host computer for optimum compatability. Additionally, a local monitor may be connected at the transmitter side.
Serial communications
RS232 can be passed between the units to a maximum rate of 115200 baud with RTS/CTS flow control.
Note: SM (Single-Mode Fiber), MM (Multi-Mode Fiber), and CAT6 is recommended for CATx extensions. CATx extensions are limited to 2 patch connections. Patch cables should be CAT6 or better.
