SHINOBI 7 II - Overview

7-inch, 2800nit HDR video photo monitor with camera control!

The Atomos Shinobi 7 II combines a larger 7-inch HDR screen, with a calibrated peak brightness of 2800nits, and the lightweight monitor-only functions of Shinobi. Can be used in the brightest of environments to monitor signals up to 4K30 via HDMI. Take control of Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony cameras via USB-C, plus Z CAM cameras via optional USB-C to serial cable. It's an ideal director's monitor, focus puller's monitor, program or preview display for video switchers.

7" Daylight Viewable Screen
The Shinobi 7 II features a 7" IPS LCD 1920x1080 HDR screen that is illuminated by a bright LED backlight, making it possible to view in daylight without requiring a hood.

DCI/UHD 4K Input/Output
Monitor up to DCI or UHD 4K30 footage in formats via HDMI 2.0 and output up to 4K30 via the HDMI 2.0 output.

USB-C Camera Control
The monitor features a USB-C control port that supports a variety of cameras from brands such as Canon, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony. For a camera compatibility list, visit the Atomos camera compatibility page. You can set the camera's focus point from the touchscreen and use on-screen sliders to adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO. The shutter-release function lets you take photos directly from the touchscreen, which is useful when shooting multiple exposures for HDR bracketing, focus stacking, and other workflows.

HDR Monitoring
You can monitor up to ten stops of dynamic range of your camera's Log image, which allows users to accurately assess and capture scenes with a wider dynamic range than conventional monitors. This is ideal for productions with high-quality visuals that require increased detail and contrast.

Audio Monitoring
Input/output embedded audio via HDMI or via the 3.5mm analog input and output for embedding as well as convenient audio monitoring.

On-Device Calibration
The USB-C control port also allows you to calibrate the display using a separately available probe for on-device calibration, without the need to plug it into a computer. The screen comes color calibrated from the factory to ensure accurate image representation out of the box.
