Core SWX PBE-A7FZ PowerBase Edge is a small form cine v-mount battery pack 49Wh/14.8v with PB70C15 charger included. The Edge is the "swiss army knife" of battery packs. It can be used as a standard v-mount pack, an under camera mounted small-form cine pack, mounted under a handheld gimbal, as well as many other uses.
The pack is outfitted with a 7.4V port for most mirriorless camera power demands, as well as 2 USBs 5V outputs, and two 14V powertap outputs, covering nearly all video production powering applications.
Extended Run Times
Comparing to small for cine and mirriorless camera battery packs, the powerbase Edge can provide up to 5x the power of those packs. Normal operational runtime on a Sony Alpha or Panasonic GH Camera can exceed 8hrs, perfect for an all day shoot.
Quick Release Plate
The Edge is outfitted with a quick release plate on the top (or back) of the pack, useful for many applications. The quick release plate has a ¼-20 thread to attach under most cameras, and a ¼-20 receptacle on the opposing side to mount to a tripod. In addition the ¼-20 quick release pate can be used to attach the pack to any part of a camera cage's side, top... anywhere with a ¼-20 thread!
