    As 12G / 4K UHD continues to shape the landscape of broadcast TV, sports, live events and commercial production workflows, Laird delivers the most advanced BNC cables on the market for effectively transmitting 12G-SDI signals up to 100 feet. Utilizing Canare L-3.3CUHD coaxial, these 12G-SDI BNC cables are the right choice to future-proof new rack to rack studio builds, OB truck layouts, patching and content delivery networks as a permanent install solution. Its light weight and small diameter makes it an excellent option for camera to recorder and similar support interface products where 12G-SDI is run. This coax cable has enhanced attenuation characteristics that allow transport of 12G signals at much greater distances than comparable-sized coax. Cables are fully SMPTE ST-2082-1 compliant and hand crafted with Canare L-3.3CUHD miniature coaxial and BCP-D33UHD connectors. A superb return loss at 12 GHz of 15 dB, 20 dB @ 6 GHz & 26 dB @ 3 GHz makes these cables perfect for 12G, 6G and 3G systems.

    12G-SDI Maximum Distance
    Laird Certifies this cable to work at a Max Transmission Distance of 100 Feet for 12G-SDI even though Canare may show this distance as 190 Feet. To meet the Laird max transmission standard, signal integrity must remain 100% functional without any CRC errors. Your 12G-SDI ST 2082 signals may function at or beyond the manufacturer-certified lengths without issues; however, when CRC errors are present there could be drops in audio, video, meta, and ancillary data. In most circumstances, video integrity remains intact at OEM distance.
