To better meet the increasing demand of PTZ cameras and its accessories, the Libec LX-ePed is now renewed as the LX-ePed 2 and the LX-ePed 2 Studio with new exciting features. These new successor models now include position presets and support IP connectivity & serial communications when combined with the new "MPC-1" optional multi-protocol converter. With the "MPC-1", the LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio can be operated by PTZ controllers and the original PC application, LX-ePed PC APP, offering a variety of optional settings.
Smart Quick Release Adapter
The included "AP-X" smart quick release adapter enables you to attach/detach your camera much safer, easier and faster. To prevent the attached PTZ camera from dropping, the adapter is equipped with a hole to secure a safety wire for PTZ cameras.
IP Connectivity & Serial Communications
By using the optional "MPC-1" multi-protocol converter, the new LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio can be operated by PTZ controllers and the original PC application, LX-ePed PC APP, that enables precise adjustments. This unique feature definitely increases the electric pedestal's accessibility making the "MPC-1" a first of its kind.
Remote Controlled Electric Pedestal
The remote controlled LX-ePed 2 adds the elevating element to the PTZ camera's pan, tilt and zoom features. This will provide more "Angles of View" and make setup adjustments easier.
Highly Reliable Wire Connection System
The LX-ePed's controller does not use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, therefore users can focus on their shoots without worrying about radio wave interference. In addition, the controller is powered through the electric pedestal's main body, so there is no need for another power source or charger
MPC-1
With the Libec MPC-1 multi-protocol converter, the LX-ePed 2, LX-ePed 2 Studio, and LX-ePed PRO can be operated by PTZ controllers and the original PC application, LX-ePed PC APP, offering a variety of optional settings. This makes Libec electric pedestals more convenient and suitable for diverse shooting scenes. The MPC-1 also supports IP Connectivity for remote operations.
The MPC-1 supports the following Internet Protocols: XC (Canon), VISCA over IP (SONY), AW(Panasonic). This smart device enables the LX-ePed 2, LX-ePed 2 Studio, and LX-ePed PRO to be connected to IP over securely closed networks, such as a VPN, for remote operations. IP compatible PTZ controllers can raise/lower the connected electric pedestals with the joystick.
