Introducing the ProX XS-SP2X12WMK2 Universal ATA Dual Speaker Flight Case, a case built around a simple, common problem: matched-pair speakers rarely travel as a pair. Most cases are made for one cabinet at a time, which means two trips loading in, two spots to track in the truck, and twice the chance something gets left behind or knocked around. This case holds both halves of your PA together, sized to fit a 12" powered speaker like the QSC K12 or JBL PRX812 on each side, with interior dimensions of 25"H x 15"W x 15"L per speaker. If your other cabinet brand matches those dimensions, it will fit here too.
The Build
The shell is 3/8" laminated plywood, CNC-cut for a tight, repeatable fit, a process ProX has used since 1984 to keep every case built to the same strict spec. The outer surface carries ProX signature Honeycomb Digital™ texture, a hexagonal pattern pressed into the shell that helps hide the scuffs and light impact marks that come from being loaded and unloaded night after night. Recessed spring-loaded handles keep the grip points flush with the body so nothing catches on other gear when you're packing tight, and twist-locking butterfly latches hold the lid shut without adding anything that can snag in transit.
Mobility
Four steel casters, two of them locking, carry the weight across parking lots, ramps, and stage floors without a struggle. Caster trays on top let a second case sit flush and stable if you're stacking for a truck pack, and reinforced dual anchor rivets back up the corners that take the brunt of drops and rough handling on tour.
Inside the Case
High-density foam lines the interior, cutting down on vibration and impact so the speakers arrive the way they left. That foam is made from 70% recycled material, mostly reclaimed plastic bottles, with the rest coming from recycled post-industrial content, part of ProX's ongoing push to build gear with less waste.
Environment Safety
ProX strives to make a cleaner world by minimizing damage to the environment, so they switched the production of their high-density rubber foam inserts. Their rubber and foam padding contains 70% recycled materials of that recycled content, most comes from recycled plastic bottles you throw out every day, and the remaining is from recycled post-industrial material.
