    MXW1X/O=-Z10 - Overview

    Shure Microflex MXW neXt 2 MXW1X/O is a rechargeable hybrid bodypack transmitter for MXW neXt wireless systems; compatible with most Shure lavalier and headworn mics.

    MXW neXt 2 can be configured via an intuitive, embedded web UI which also provides access to the onboard IntelliMix DSP settings (Automixer, AEC, NR, PEQ, AGC).

    Compatibility with Existing Microflex Wireless
    The current MXW system will continue to be available for applications that require higher channel count per room and/or gooseneck form factors.

    As MXW neXt 2 is an entirely new platform, it is not directly compatible with current MXW hardware or software. However, the new solution can be easily integrated into existing installations.

It can be network-installed or used as a standalone system, with its comprehensive set of audio connections: Dante, Analog, and USB.

    Cloud Device Monitoring (Public Beta)
    Alongside the launch of MXW neXt 2, Shure will be demonstrating a Beta version of their all-new cloud monitoring solution at ISE 2024. The platform will allow users to view inventory of online MXW neXt 2 devices, claim devices locally, by MAC address or by serial number, identify devices, and more.

    • Features:

      • Programmable mute button can control one or multiple transmitters; can be configured as push-to-talk, push-to-mute, or push-on/push-off functioning.
      • MXW neXt transmitters can be remotely muted/unmuted by room control system.
      • Power switch can be defeated to prevent accidental powering off.
      • Out-of-range alert reminds user to return transmitter to charging station.
      • Information screen displays battery time remaining, room assignment, and more.
      • Adjustable transmit power provides reliable wireless coverage up to 160 feet (50 meters).
      • Always-on AES-256 encryption provides enhanced privacy for meeting audio.
