Since Kevlar won't melt, and the fibers are very strong, neither a hot knife nor standard scissors will cut the sleeving properly. We offer a choice of shears specifically designed to easily cut Kevlar and other similar materials to the necessary length.
These shears are fine for ocassional use cutting Kevlar and other strong aramid fibers.
