Cables employ Canare’s RJC5ES-4P-BS flexible and durable CAT5e STP cable which features stranded conductors and an overall braided shield. The Laird TUFFCAT-S-PS is terminated with Platinum Tools Shielded RJ45 connectors which are built with a hi-lo stagger design to isolate each conductor at the point of termination making the end result a performance beyond enhanced Cat5e. Laird also includes the patented ProShell connector cover which turns a conventional RJ45 connector into a robust connector solution capable of repeated connections while maintaining mechanical and electrical integrity. The only solution available that doesn't require specialized connectors at both ends, the ProShell can be used with standard hardware.
