Intelligent Processing to Maximize System Performance
When used in combination with Yamaha PX and PC-D Series amplifiers or other compatible signal processors, CXS mk3 series subwoofers can take full advantage of dedicated speaker processor tuning settings. (Supported firmware is Ver 1.66 or later.)
Cardioid Mode
Low frequencies are typically non-directional, resulting in equal sound pressure levels on both audience and stage sides. When two or more CXS mk3 units are used in combination with Yamaha PX and PC-D Series amplifiers or other compatible signal processors, the cardioid mode enables more effective bass control by efficiently increasing audience-side output while simultaneously reducing stage-side sound pressure for optimized monitoring performance.
