If you are like most broadcast engineers and A/V professionals, you encounter many situations where you need to monitor multiple 3G-, HD-, or SD-SDI feeds. The Matrox MicroQuad lets you use an affordable HDMI display to view your video signals. Ideal for OB vans, on-set productions and live events, Matrox MicroQuad is a small, easy-to-use device. Simply connect power and up to four SDI inputs, all controls are on the unit itself, no computer is required.

Monitor up to four SDI feeds inexpensively
On a single HDMI display in quadrant view, Matrox MicroQuad lets you monitor up to four SDI inputs that can be 3G or HD or SD.

Scale using the powerful 10-bit engine
Matrox MicroQuad always ensures a crisp, artifact-free monitoring experience thanks to its state-or-the-art scaling algorithms with advanced filtering and de-interlacing.

    Toggle to full screen view
At the touch of a button, Matrox MicroQuad lets you toggle to a full screen view of any one of your inputs and its associated audio.

    Synchronize your inputs
Matrox MicroQuad will take non-genlocked SDI signals and synchronize both video and audio on the HDMI output.

    Monitor audio
Use the selection border in quadrant view to select the audio source you want sent to the HDMI display.

Comments about Matrox MicroQuad Quad SDI to HDMI Multiviewer for 3G/HD/SD:

Beware of this item. Know your SDI input resolutions and frame rates before buying the MicroQuad. Unless all resolutions and frame rates match, this item isn't for you. Read the fine print in the online owners documentation and it will state this very point. No where does Matrox state this in the item description.

Comments about Matrox MicroQuad Quad SDI to HDMI Multiviewer for 3G/HD/SD:

I needed a multi view solution for multi cam video production work. The Matrox Micro Quad unit fits the bill perfectly. It's simple to use. Just plug in your SDI cameras and take an HDMI out to a monitor and you're set. It can display up to 4 sources and take each of them to full screen if needed with just a touch of a button. Perfect solution to multi cam viewing.
