Gepco International

Gepco has been a leader in the broadcast and professional AV industry for over 40 years. Starting in a garage outside of Chicago in 1981, founder Gary Geppert set out to address the problems he saw with the wire and cable being used in the broadcast industry. Mainly legacy leftovers from the Telco, Military, and Manufacturing sectors, the choices available were limited. His newly designed cable had jacketed, shielded pairs to prevent crosstalk and was designed for easy identification. The jacketing kept things nice and neat, eliminating the need for shrink tubing, and featured alphanumeric print for quick scanning. Thus, a new company was born! Gary's desire for a better multi-pair audio cable became Gepco, a pioneer in Multi-pair audio, Hi-def video and fiber cabling!

This is the cable that Gary Geppert set out to create when he started Gepco. The Gepco GA61812GFC is the OG Gepco cable! Designed for low noise and attenuation, the GA series multi-pair is durable, easy to terminate, and UL-listed. A high-grade polyethylene dielectric minimizes high-frequency attenuation and tight pair twisting achieves superior noise rejection. The Riser Rated Gep-Flex master jacket is both flexible and easy to pull through tight spaces.

Already excelling at multi-channel audio snake cables, Gepco ventured into video and ultimately produced some of the best coaxial video cables in the industry. A banner example of Gepco innovation and engineering is the VDM230, a mini coax that features exceptionally low attenuation for its size and weight. The copper center conductor, low-loss foam polyethylene dielectric, and gas-injected dielectric make this cable ideal for Standard Definition digital video, AES3id digital audio, or High-Definition digital video. Gepco DLC224 DMX512 Lighting Control Cable
Gepco outpaced the competition by developing and manufacturing professional DMX lighting and control cables that are exceptionally durable and flexibly constructed. The Gepco DLC224 is a DMX512, 4 Conductor Control Cable, 24 AWG stranded tinned copper, Foam PE insulation, foil shield plus 90% TC braid and an all-weather TPE jacket. DMX512 is the communication standard used in stage lighting and effects. It enables the digital control of lighting fixtures and effects, such as Par Cans, Fresnels, fog machines, and mirror balls.
