The Laird CES-RJ45 4-Channel CAT5e Tactical Ethernet Snake compliments applications with balun systems that require multiple or redundant channels of Cat5e cables in remote production or staging applications. These can be used with balun products or as Datacom products. Perfect for all professional audio applications. Designed with heavy duty, tour-grade flexible jacket. This series features RJ45 CAT5e connections in a 24 inch fanout at each end. Each RJ45 connector is individually color coated for easy identificaiton. Snake cable consists of heavy duty, four-pair Cat5e UTP cables under a black overall jacket. Each element features 24 gage, solid copper conductors and a unique inner belt that preserves the critical pair spacing and geometry. For added strength and diameter, each four-pair UTP element has a second TPE jacket which is color coded for easy identification. The outer jacket is also constructed from a rugged TPE compound for exceptional durability and flexibility in hostile environments.
