A 1.75" compression driver, 15" woofer, and powerful 1400 W two-channel amplifier work with RCF's constant-directivity True Resistive Waveguide to deliver consistent 100° x 60° coverage, clear reproduction, and up to 130 dB SPL with low distortion. RCF Class D amplifier technology delivers high output and high efficiency in a lightweight design. ART 8 amplifiers provide fast attack, accurate transient response, and reliable audio performance. The solid aluminum structure improves transport durability and supports fanless heat dissipation, while switched-mode power supply maximizes output and reduces weight.
RCF Transducer Technology
RCF transducers are engineered for clarity, power handling, and long-term reliability. ART 8 combines clean high-frequency detail, strong vocal projection, and solid low-frequency response with controlled distortion. The True Resistive Waveguide reduces high-frequency distortion and shapes constant directivity across the listening area, improving coverage and stereo image.
Low Frequencies
Low-frequency transducer design gains more stability over higher currents, with less distortion, and is highly efficient in terms of heat dissipation. RCF quality control is very strict. RCF woofers are tested with a 200 hours continuous signal to stress the transducer at extreme levels. Only the best woofer design can fit ART 8.
High Frequencies
The new 1.75" compression driver voice-coil design with Polyimide-Kapton dome features a new bonding technology and reinforced ribs making it 10 times more durable than previous designs. The redesigned phase plug increases sound clarity, enhancing transient response and improving coupling with the low-frequency transducer.
Bring ART With You
ART 8 is easy to carry, with ergonomic handles on both sides and the top. The lower side includes a steel pole socket for mounting on a stand or subwoofer pole. Each model can be used as a main system, fill speaker, or stage monitor, and can also be flown, wall-mounted, or truss-mounted using multiple M10 rigging points and dedicated accessories.
Low-Frequency Enhancer
XBOOST adds extra depth and impact to the low-frequency response when more bass presence is needed. It can be activated directly from the rear panel, giving users a fast way to adapt the speaker to the performance, the room, or the listening level. For setups without a subwoofer, XBOOST helps create a fuller sound while keeping the overall response controlled and balanced.
