The Riedel MN-VirtU-32-FR frame is organized into 8 independent processing clusters, each housing up to 4x MuoN Processing SFPs (MuoN-SFP-B) with a dual set of uplinks for integral ST2022-7 hitless redundancy support. Selectable network interfaces at 10/25GE (processing) and 40/100GE (uplink). Software-defined processors include ST2110 gateways, JPEG-XS encode/decode, up/down/cross conversion, HDR conversion, multiviewer, clean switching, color correction and frame sync. Can be configured as, for example: 64 channels bulk UHD ST2110-to-SDI gateway; 32 audio matrices with 2048x2048 audio channels each; 64x IP-to-IP bulk JPEG-XS encode/decode; or a 512x32 IP-to-IP multiviewer - or any combination of these functions in the single RU frame.
The VirtU 32 core processing frame can be used as:
• 64 channels bulk UHD ST2110 - SDI gateway
• 64 IP-to-IP bulk JPEG-XS encode/decode
• Or any combination of these function in a single RU frame
The mission-critical frame construct provides 8x independent clusters each one with MuoN Processing SFP connecting to a dual set of uplinks for integral support of ST2022-7 hitless redundancy.
Benefits:
• Virtualized! Fits anywhere!
• Optimize bandwidth to your core
• Virtually no point of failure
