The Sonifex AVN-DIO15 is an ultra-high quality analog-to-Dante converter from the Sonifex DIO range. It features four balanced analog XLR inputs for seamless integration with Dante Audio-over-IP networks. A front panel line-up control allows the global 0dBFS reference level to be set to +12dBu, +18dBu, or +24dBu using a recessed toggle switch, enabling flexible system matching. The superior A/D circuitry used is designed for optimal audio performance, offering >120dB of dynamic range. Audio and power are delivered via the EtherCON connection, supporting PoE for simplified installation. Front panel LEDs indicate network clock status, AoIP link activity, and PoE power presence for clear operational monitoring. The unit incorporates Audinate Dante chipsets and is compliant with AES67 and Dante Domain Manager.
Like all Sonifex DIO interfaces, it provides a simple plug-and-play solution for connecting analog and digital audio equipment to Dante networks, with configuration handled via Dante Controller. It is housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure with provisions for desk mounting, and an optional accessory, AVN-DIORK, allows multiple units to be installed on a 19" rack-mount shelf.
