VLDT-WP22B2AUS - Overview

The VigilLink VLDT-WP22B2AUS is a professional multi-input Dante wall plate that bridges Bluetooth 5.1 wireless audio, RCA analog audio, and 3.5mm analog audio into a Dante IP network - while simultaneously converting Dante audio back to analog RCA and 3.5mm outputs for local monitoring or zone distribution. Designed as a standard US 2-Gang wall plate, this unit installs directly into any standard 2-gang electrical box, providing a complete bidirectional audio interface for conference rooms, classrooms, hospitality venues, and collaborative spaces that require both wireless BYOD connectivity and permanent wired analog source integration. The VLDT-WP22B2AUS supports Bluetooth 5.1 with multi-codec compatibility including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX-LL, and aptX-HD, connects up to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, and offers software-selectable input sensitivity and output gain for precise signal level management across all sources.

The wall plate features an integrated web server and GUI for Bluetooth pairing configuration, input source selection (Bluetooth, RCA, or 3.5mm), and gain control - accessible from any browser on the network. Input source switching is handled via front-panel button, web GUI, or TCP/IP API, and the Bluetooth device name is fully configurable for multi-room deployments where multiple units need to be individually identifiable. Analog input sensitivity is adjustable across six levels (+18dBu, +4dBu, 0dBu, 0dBV, -10dBV, -18dBV) and analog output gain across five levels (+20dBu, +4dBu, 0dBu, 0dBV, -10dBV) via control software - enabling the VLDT-WP22B2AUS to interface correctly with consumer, prosumer, and professional-level source equipment. A USB-C service port enables Bluetooth firmware upgrades without removing the unit from the wall.

A single RJ45 connection running standard IEEE 802.3af PoE (Class 0) powers the device and carries the Dante audio network simultaneously - a single Cat6 cable delivers power, audio input, and audio output in both directions. The VLDT-WP22B2AUS supports Dante audio at 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, and 96kHz sampling rates at 16, 24, or 32-bit depth, with configurable Dante device latency from 2ms to 10ms via Dante Controller.
