AV System Automation
The Javelin AT-OCS-900N works directly with Atlona WAVE, Velocity & Omega to automatically control AV system startup or shutdown based on room occupancy.
Multi-Function and Open Protocols
In addition to occupancy, the AT-OCS-900N also captures temperature and ambient light levels, and allows the information to be communicated to Atlona products and third-party systems over the network using common protocols including UDP, TCP, WebSocket, and MQTT.
Customization and Straightforward Installation
Includes two lenses that cover 900ft² (83.6m²) or 2,000ft² (185.8m²) depending on ceiling height and a blinder insert to help prevent unwanted detection from cross traffic. Configurable LED's to differentiate it from other equipment in the ceiling. Single PoE connection provides both communication and power. Self-contained spring-loaded clamps secure the sensor to a ceiling tile.
Unique Features
The Atlona AT-OCS-900N is a network-enabled multi-function sensor designed for use in a wide variety of AV automation applications. It uses passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect occupancy in the coverage area and communicates with select Atlona products over the network to automatically control AV components.
• Network-Enabled: Communicates over IP with WAVE, Velocity & Omega for automatic display control
• Multi-function: In addition to occupancy, the sensor also captures temperature and ambient light level information.
• Configurable Coverage: Includes two lenses covering 900 sq ft or 2,000 sq ft based on height and a blinder to prevent unwanted detection.
• Third-party Integration: Sensor information can be communicated to third-party systems using UDP, TCP, WebSocket, and MQTT.
Applications:
• Commercial - Automate AV system operation in conference rooms and huddle spaces based on occupancy.
• Education - Automate AV system operation in classrooms and lecture spaces based on occupancy.
• Hospitality/Retail - Create interactive with digital signage and video walls in lobbies or stores based on motion near the display.
